The higher 1440p resolution allows more screen space for work and gaming compared to 1080p as well. On a 27-32 inch monitor, 2K is considered the sweet spot where increased resolution is very noticeable and pixels are not visible to the naked eye. This makes it an ideal resolution for PC gaming rigs powering mid-sized gaming monitors.

This monitor cant do 4K its a 1440p monitor max. If you run a game at 120fps it will downscale to 1080p but use an upscaling method to make it slightly better than other monitors. If you play a game that can run 4k 60 fps the monitor will still output 1080 but upscale internally to 4K. Looks good but its still not as good as running native 1440
